Voluntary health insurance (hereinafter, VHI) and health and accident insurance (hereinafter, HAI) of the Company’s employees were carried out according to the Regulations on Insurance Protection
In 2014, employee insurance under VAI and HAI policies was provided by JSC SOGAZ.
In 2014 the Company tried to find the ways to bear the cost of rehabilitation of employees’ children, which is especially important in view of the climatic conditions of the Far North, where the majority of the Company’s branches is located. During the year, employees’ children aged 7 to 15 years visited sanatoriums and resorts in the country, children’s camps and children’s health camps, including resorts in the Krasnodar Region, with the full or partial use of the Company’s assets totaling RUB 8.5 million (less the funds allocated for this purpose by the municipalities, the share paid by employees).
One of the main components of the employees’ health improvement, healthy lifestyle promotion and disease prevention is granting the Company’s employees of opportunities of involvement in physical training and sports, conducting competitions and sports celebrations, participation in sports competitions and tournaments.
In 2014, over 200 sports activities were held, involving about 6,000 employees.
JSC IDGC of the North-West team took part in the 4th open M.M. Botvinnik power industry chess tournament. The Company’s team joined the top eight and passed to the “golden” play-off series at the 5th Fuel-and-Energy Cup — Electricity Sector and Atom 2014 tournament in mini-football, which took place in Moscow on September 20 and 21, 2014.
